His animated feature film, "WALL" produced by the National Film Board of Canada, received a nationwide release in Canadian theatres and was Official Selection: Annecy, CPH:DOX, Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival, Anima Mundi International Animation Festival Brazi, Animix Festival Tel Aviv, Cinanima International Festival Portugal, Doclands San Francisco USA, Official Selection Calgary International Film Festival, Sommets du cinéma d’animation- Montréal. It earned a review in The New York Times and was written and starred in by two-time Oscar nominee David Hare. Other films like "Real Place" and "I Have Seen the Future" screened at TIFF and Sundance. Christiansen's latest film, "Echo of Everything," had its world premiere at Hot Docs in Toronto in 2023.
